About This Game Shadows Peak is an atmospheric, open-world horror game focused on exploration that doesn't hold your hand. The main focus of the game is on the atmosphere, story, and exploration. Unlike most horror games, Shadows Peak allows you to explore large environments and progress through the game in a non-linear way.You play as the writer Tom Blair who has decided to visit a mysterious place called Shadows Peak to gather materials for a new book about legends. A number of people have gone missing in Shadows Peak. Some people claim that they saw something that they shouldn’t have been able to see there and, of course, there are some dark legends surrounding this place.Key FeaturesLarge environmentsNon-linear gameplayNo hand holdingMysterious storyHaunting atmosphereGamepad support for 50 controllers 7ad7b8b382 Title: Shadows PeakGenre: Action, AdventureDeveloper:Andrii VintsevychPublisher:Andrii VintsevychRelease Date: 13 Mar, 2017 Free Download Shadows Peak shadows peak pc. shadows peak wiki. pinnacle peak shadows scottsdale. pinnacle peak shadows hoa. shadows peak guide. lone peak shadows hoa. shadows peak wiki. shadows peak trailer. shadows peak gameplay. shadows peak test. shadows peak steam. shadows peak download. stonepeak shadows collection. pinnacle peak shadows homes for sale. lone peak shadows hoa. shadows of valhalla sneak peek. shadows peak pc. pinnacle peak shadows hoa. pinnacle peak shadows scottsdale. stonepeak shadows collection. shadows peak download. no shadows cody peak. no shadows cody peak. shadows of valhalla sneak peek. shadows peak review. lone peak shadows townhomes. shadows peak guide. shadows peak game. shadows peak. shadows peak. shadows peak gameplay. lone peak shadows townhomes. shadows peak walkthrough. shadows peak trainer. shadows peak trailer. shadows peak pc download. pinnacle peak shadows homes for sale. four shadows cody peak. shadows peak pc download. shadows peak test. shadows peak review. shadows peak steam. shadows peak walkthrough. four shadows cody peak. shadows peak trainer. shadows peak game AWESOME GAME RATTING #1This game is about average in game length maybe a little short but from the start to the end, the game play and the story was awesome! I defiantly would recommend this game to all my friends and those who read this review! With the cool dark scary atmosphere that was excellent! Very good play in combat situations! Warning note you cannot hit with your hands so find a knife! The story was also very good you could not guess what was happening or even think it would have ended the way it did! Buy this game very good ending and game play!Game play 100% and game length 85% due to it could have been a little longer but still good and Character 90% very likeable lowered due to you can not see him or edit him and story 100% awesome and replay 90% due to you know the story but still could replay after a while! My opinion any game with a great story and long enough is while worth what I payed for it, Maybe even a little more. All great games that have a good story just makes the game more real and I love them because it is as though I am reading and living the story at the same time.. 10/10 would scare again. I've been having issues with the game ever since I bought it. It's been run through two separate computers and both times the game has been unplayable. The main issue is that whenever the game start up, not the unity display, but the the game menu itself will shift to the very bottom right corner of my screen and I'm only able to see the top corner, therefore unplayable. I've scanned the game files integrity and whatever I do or whatever people tell me to do, it just doesnt seem to work. Please help me because I'd hate to see my money wasted on a dysfunctional game. (FD: Review copy provided by developer)Shadows Peak opens with an uppercut straight into your feelie hole by having your fiancée blasted off the pier of the titular island by what appears to be an atomic bomb. You press F to call to her- "Michelle! MICHELLLEE!"- but there's nothing around except dirty bird corpses and a save point. You save over your previous life with Michelle because, I don't know, what is love when you get down to it, and head towards a lighthouse in the distance, the radiation burns slowing your attempts to sprint anywhere.Believe me, that particular hindrance won't go away by itself. Shadows Peak plops you down on a very generously sized play area with several landmarks and locations to visit and unless you've got your explorer's hat on, you wouldn't know that you have to cure your crippled jog with medication. There's no waypoints, no map, few hints, precious little health and some incredibly quick and vicious enemies chasing you down. These brutal elements are balanced with a generous number of save points that allow you to properly investigate the many hidden pockets of the island without undergoing a frustrating degree of backtracking. It's a good solid show for an Early Access title. The atmosphere is consistently bleak and bizarre and the island design and layout is excellent but maybe the best thing about Shadows Peak is that it's a huge leap in quality from the developer's previous game, Gynophobia. That won't mean anything to some of you, I'm sure, but one of my personal simple pleasures in life is seeing independent talent grow on Steam and come back stronger from their losses. This is a rare victory in that regard and I'll be following whatever else grows out of this early build's bizarre ending twist with great interest. You can check out my fun with the game below.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN1JHoAOTrk. One of the best mystery survival gems from this developer (also Witch Hunter). There's a bit of detective, fps, ghosts n' horror and you get to see aliens too! Two decent sized maps and 3-4 hours of atmospheric gameplay. The price is well worth it and if you want more of this style, purchase Witch Hunter.Looking forward to Shadows Peak 2 or something similar.. Has the Alan Wake problem where core gameplay hinders rather than helps the experience.. As a child of late 80s I feel like this has a theme that hasnt been explored enough videogame-wise. Nice music and sound, i like the surrondings as well. But gameplay and story.. Nope.To expensive as well, i manged to pick it up during a sale but i wouldnt recommend it for less then 80% off. you can get so many good games for the same amount of money. If it would have been cheaper maybe i could have recommend it.. Interesting experience featuring a clever change in protagonist and plot direction. I finished the game in five hours. I did get lost for a little while until reoriented as the wilderness can be hard to navigate if you leave the beaten path. I got this game with the Witch-Hunt bundle, (WH is awesome BTW) otherwise I probably would not have acquired Shadows Peak. Not really an FPS, although it has a few point and shoot moments. Mostly a sci fi-horror story where one location leads to another to advance the plot. The map is open but there are a couple methods employed to keep the player following the linear story: which is a good thing because its easy to head the wrong way in the dusky wooded environment. Also, expect to explore a couple caves along the way. I don't think there is enough game here to stand on its own, however as part of a bundle I am OK with it.. This game is wonderful. If you get a chance, definetly pick it up. It scared the bajeesus out of me more than a few times. The story is fun. The gameplay is fun. The stuff you see is engaging and scary. Also if your a fan of weird supernatural documentaries about aliens, ghosts, and/or cryptozoology this game is definetly for you. Can't recommend it enough.. Very, very, very atmospheric game. First time i've launched in May 2016, today i decided to play in again, because a lot of updates came out in past 9 months . And there is a lot of improvements in this game! A tons of new tiny (but very interesing) details added, making atmospheric game more atmospheric! I suggest this game for all horror lovers :)
